TTT Map posted 10 Mar 2006, 21:03 by VJustin, Commoner

I just got my copy of TTT a few days ago and noticed something strange. The Three-Seas map is very blurry. Almost like it is the product of a faulty scanner. The title of the map is clear, and the other two maps are fine, however. Anyone else have this problem? I wanted to check before I went back and returned it (it was the only copy and I'd have to order another one). Thanks. -Justin view post

Others have reported the same problem, actually Scott's hardcover copy has the exact same problem that he showed me. It appears to be something from that producers print run and was fixed for their second run. Keep a hold of it because that little error might actually end up being rare. view post

I also have the same blurry map, would be cool if it turned out to be rare. view post

There are too many bad map books out there for this to ever be rare. I'd return it if it bothers you, and not return it if you don't care. view post

As far as I know the problem comes from the Orbit (? maybe) print run distributed in the US. You may not be able to find a replacement right away but you can always check. The version I saw was still legible, just pixelated. view post

Go to the PoN website, and the map is there for the printing. view post

I've posted about this before. I've scanned in both maps. feel free to print them. Good map from Book 2: http://static.flickr.com/40/98380936_1ba29392d6_b_d.jpg Bad map from Book 3: http://static.flickr.com/37/98378633_ad5e03afc3_b_d.jpg view post
