I just got my unemployment check in the mail . 100 dollars to last me a month
?? how I'm gunna do this?!?! Will I use it to buy life giving food? water? shelter? nay...I shal wait until PN is published and buy it, then whatever's left I can use for food ect....until then this amusing sketch of me and scott will have to last me.
me-- "please master, more books!"
scott-- "not until you say it like I told you!"
me-- "ok...R. Scott Bakker, breaker of horses and men"
scott-- "good boy"
me-- "more books, you promised!"
scott-- "no, it's off to the temple to worship Procrastidemus."
me-- "you promised me you would quit seeing him! he makes us love, he makes us love!
"
scott--

wow, that's shit. when i was on unemployment a few years back i got like $1400 a month. view post
what?!?! that's it, I'm moving to Canada. That is so not fair. I could easily support myself and continue to read scott's books with that kinda money. Maybe I could even buy a car, IF I ever get my license back .

oddly enough, my job currently pays $1400 a month, which i find to be ridiculously low. mind you, with the salary i made before claiming EI, $1400 was a drastic drop. toronto is ridiculously expensive to live in. view post
I know, I was doin some house shopping in that area...hehehe, right before I turned 18. Luckily, I'm flat footed. My salary before the glorious life of unemployment was piss poor....I worked as a male nurse (laugh it up) at the hospital here...I, as well as about 20 other people, got laid off....oh well, I don't really want to be in medicine anyway... view post
..finally got a job! back to the strange world of employment, where you have to spell out words like "tho" and "thru" and "idk".....
maybe I should stick with what I'm good at...unemployment

*sings the miserable lament of the employed*
congrats on paying the bills, EoC. Me, I'd gladly pay good hard cash (and perhaps sexual favors too) if I had the chance to throttle my boss. For being an editor-in-chief, the man is such a n00b.

I would wholeheartedly suggest the life of a professional musician, except I barely make any money at all and I certainly don't need any competition. view post
I'm living in debt, as a student that is to be expected though I guess. Too bad it effectively cripples me for the next 15 years. view post
im going back to school this year, which means i'll be in debt once again. i'll still buy the books though. if there's a will, there's a way! view post
