We all know that in the PON sorcerers are damned the second they speak in the God's togue. Does anyone else here think the same is true for spammers? The second they spam they are doomed to hell. I think that theyt are but I am not quite sure. view post

Ha. The sum total of my mod duties have been 1) smackdown on a bitchfight between two posters, 2) deleting dual posts, 3) random posturing. I am happy with this. Modding flamewars is a bitch. view post

Heh. Mostly, I use my mod powers to correct spelling, grammar, and formatting (I don't have to do this; it just makes me feel better). Then there's moving posts (yes, saying you're going on vacation is an 'announcement,' but since it's not related to the board...). After that, it's splitting subjects that really go off on tangents. Only rarely have I had to wave around the bitch-be-good-stick ([i:2yuir9nm]i.e.[/i:2yuir9nm]assert my modliness), even more rare that I use it. Locked a few topics temporarily and deleted one post. view post

eh, i know a few moderators of various forums, and they sometimes use their mod powers a bit too much, sometimes locking whole threads. Usually it something that pisses them off...but anyway. view post
