A pack of Sranc blundered into Ishual, were dealt with, and Moenghus was despatched to gain intelligence on Sranc incursions. When he returned he was judged to be contaminated (a visit to Atrithau perhaps?), and was banished from Ishual. Moenghus then turns up in the hands of the Scylvendi, who apparently rescued him from slavery at the hands of the Sranc. view post

I remember reading something about this, and I looked through the books briefly and couldn't find the right passages. Then I began to wonder if I hallcinated my memory (hey, it happens! ).
