The "Dark Lord" or the No-God is neither Kellhus or Achamian but he is rising. Kellhus is going to find out he is vulnerable and Achamian will be there to pick him back up and tell him how to defeat the No-God. As much as I don't trust Kellhus he has done good for the people. He lead them to victory and cleansed them of the skin spies. He also did what he originally set out to do. Make sure his father died. He just became The Aspect Emperor along the way. I can't wait to see what he has become in the last 20 years. The word is it will be released in January. I guess I do have to wait after all. view post
I'm going with the theory that the voice is the soul of Samarmas. I think all of the deformed babies were actually twins melded together. After all, isn't that what the Dunyain do in a way? Become one with the Universe. They did stare at each other for many years. Maybe the Strength of the Dunyain allows them to physically get inside the head of another. It could also be the crazy brother Inrilatas but I'm going with the twin. Maybe it's another Dunyain altogether sent from Ishual to have Kellhus killed. But I'm going with the Samarmas. Did I say that yet already? Crazy idea that the voice could be born of a plan constructed by the Consult. I always wondered what the effects of the black sperm ejaculated into Esmenet by Aurang could be. But how would the Consult have known that a common whore would birth the children of an Emperor? As for the skin spy theory, no way. Maithanet would have spotted him a mile away. Kelmomas is afraid of Maithanet and his father because he doesn't want to get caught for the murders. "Anasurimbor Maithanet replied with uncharacteristic reluctance. ""I find this turn...incalcuble."" He doesn't know what to make of it. Whatever or whoever that voice is I think we can all agree that it's making one vicious little boy out of Kelmomas. view post
With The Judging Eye, Mimara can see the damnation of sorcery. When she looks at the Chorae see's a light. A Tear of God. Chorae kills sorcerers and negates the effects of sorcery towards the individuals holding one. Kind of like holy water to vampires. Looks to me like Mimara is going to see a lot more with this special talent she has. view post
If Kellhus sleeps then he too has Seswatha's dreams. Most likely the same dreams Achamian is having. He would know Achamian's obsession and use it to his advantage. Maybe Kellhus sent an agent, a caste-noble from Nilnamesh named Somandutta, to use Achamian in helping him find The Heron Spear(?). The weapon that initially took out the No-God in the First Apocalypse. Or maybe that's what Mimara is for. It could be hidden in the coffers along with the map to Ishual. This way Kellhus can focus on The Great Ordeal. view post
I thought that the dreams came with Gnosis. If not then oh well. Besides, I don't think Kellhus sleeps. Maybe he meditates but I'm sure he's got too much going on to get some solid REMs. As for the Heron Spear, why would Scott spend so much time with those dreams of searching for it in TTT? I never really saw it as filler and feel like it is of importance for the Second Apocolypse (if it ever happens). view post
Perhaps another Dunyain altogether. I'm sure Moenghus and Kellhus are not the only ones that have been sent out on missions. If Kellhus tainted the Dunyain just as his father had I'm sure they would send another to assassinate this so-called Aspect-Emperor. I'm sure the shortest path for that Dunyain, one without sorcery, would involve recruiting one of the few Non-men wizards know to man. Lucky him, he gets the teacher and step-daughter of his mark along the way. Nah...too much coincidence for that. Although, Somandutta did escape Cil Aujas relatively unscathed. view post
By the way, the word traveller can be spelled traveler. It just depends on where you are from. Kinda like whiskey and whisky. Theatre or theater. They are all correct. I think I'm on to something though with Soma thanks to your thoughts. Maybe not Dunyain but there is something to that Nilnameshi. I made the mistake before of getting too attached to my theories with Bakker. At one point during TWP I thought Maithanet was the No-God and the Second Apocalypse was going to occur during TTT. Now I know every theory must begin or end with "maybe". view post
I don't think the gods like it when a human speaks their language. That's why they damn them. What happens to the souls of those that are not damned? Has Bakker mentioned a "heaven" yet? Perhaps Kellhus knows they are all just food for Sranc (or worms) and it's time to change that. "Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try ..." view post
Didn't Kellhus tell Esmenet not challenge the Yatwer cult? I think he knows exactly what he is doing. He knows of the White-Luck Warrior and knows of his/her importance for the future. I think that is why Sorweel was given the slave that follows Yatwer. Nothing is coincidence for the Dunyain. view post
...and I'm pretty sure the demon heads are skin spies. It's a matter of semantics. view post
