This series of novels caught me form the very beggining. The characters a so real and the books address very real issues in todays society such as homosexuality and religious conflicts. All of these factors coming together in one place is a rare occurence and it therefore thses books should be treasured for years to come From Ontario, Cameron view post

I don't think the dunyain would ally themsleves with the consult or any other non-dunyain. Of course they may lie and say they are allied with the Consult but they would really be trying to dominate them as Kellhus dominated the Holy War view post

wouldn't slaughtering humanity be in direct opposition to their ultimate goal, as they would have to slaughter themselves and never have the chance to become self-moving? view post

Cnaiur is definetly not dead he is just too developed and pivotal to the plotline to simply accomplish his goal and then die peacefully he at least has to take some people with him view post

yeah, i really liked Conphas as well false pride can be a powerfull ally if you use it right he kind of reminded me of myslef in a more extreme case. I was glad he died though Kellhus would have had to crush the entire Empire if he lived view post

[quote:37kkxb8w]I'd prefer not to study the PoN, even given the chance. I enjoy it, and enjoy discussing it. Having some dumbass teacher tell me that it's actually about Jesus would kill me inside. [/quote:37kkxb8w] oooooooooh so true view post

i believe that essentially the sranc are just an instrument of death; a weapon, they were created with the explicit purpose of killing things, and they do this very well view post

wow, calm down people, but, i agree with Ulyaoth, Achamian will probably not be hunted, simply because of lack of hunters, and he will probably go west, as it is the only logical course of action i can come up with...why go towards an enemy and danger to search for something you might not be able to find? view post
